The Basics

The NOOK fully supports downloads from other file formats. Transfer files from your computer to the NOOK via a USB cable connection.

Also load many other files, including MP3s, as well as ePub, PDB and PDF files.

Checking Out and Downloading full-text ebooks

These directions apply to the Healey Library databases that offer the download option.

The first option

   1. Download the free software Adobe Digital Editions, which is an ebook content manager.

   2. Connect the NOOK to your computer via the USB cable, when the device is recognized, just drag and drop ebook to the NOOK.

The second option

   1.  Save the download to your desktop.  When the dialog window opens choose “Open Folder to View Files”

   2. Once the NOOK is recognized, just drag and drop the ebook into the NOOK.

The ebook will now appear on the NOOK under “My Documents”.

Then safely eject the device from computer.
