Requesting Copies

Copies -  Articles, conference notes, etc. - anything that can be scanned and emailed

Check Healey Library's Journal Finder which provides an A-Z listing of our electronic journal holdings to make sure the item is not available to you through Healey. You can also do a title search in UMBrella to see if we have print holdings for the periodical.

If we do not own the title, or the issue is unavailable, request the item through your ILLiad InterLibrary Loan account by logging in here.

Copy requests must have full title of a journal, journal article title, and year.

Each article requires a separate request even if there are many within the same issue of a journal.

  • You can help us find exactly what you need by providing the ISSN number for the journal, but that information is not required for submission of the request.

To submit a request for a book chapter,  choose "Bookchapter" from the left-hand side menu in ILLiad.

  • Each chapter requires a separate request.
  • In most cases, a library may provide a maximum of 1 chapter, or  up to 10% of the total page count from one book.  We reserve the right to cancel any requests that exceed a library's copying limit.
