Textbooks at UMass Boston

UMB Bookstore
Search for textbooks and course material. Now you can buy, rent or sell textbooks right here at the Campus Center! The UMB Bookstore offers both new and (discounted) used textbooks, and has a buyback program for used textbooks.
Course Reserves
Some of your course textbooks may have been placed on reserve in the library by your instructor. To see if there is a print copy of your textbook available, search Course Reserves in UMBrella.
InterLibrary Loan
In some cases, textbooks (if unavailable at Healey Library) may be borrowed from other libraries. However, most libraries will not lend recent editions of textbooks and InterLibrary loan will not order titles that are currently placed on reserve at Healey Library.

Used and Discounted Textbooks Online

Textbooks are updated frequently, so be sure to order the textbook edition required by your professor. Searching by ISBN number will help you find the correct edition.

If you are renting textbooks, read the fine print of the rental agreement, you could incur fines if you don't follow it.
