A well-written annotated bibliography can greatly ease the process of drafting your final project or paper. When evaluating a useful source, you want to identify the following information:
- Argument: In one sentence, describe the purpose of the source. What is the author(s) trying to convey?
- Methodology: In one to two sentences, explain HOW the author(s) were able to convey and support their argument.
- Examples: What specific sources, theories, or examples did the author(s) engage with in their methodology?
- Contribution/Relationship to your Project: What quotes, phrases, or ideas will you be referencing in your own research? Here is where you find concrete pieces of the text to include in your own research.
